Promoting the RP

Hey all,

I'm not a big RP-er, but I do imagine that the more people involved, the better it gets.

So I'd welcome any ideas for promoting this RP, both on the main page and elsewhere! For instance, I think I may start adding "NOW WITH SHAPESHIFTING RP!" or something to ad banners?

Any other ideas?

Sig Banners. Though it hasn't worked so far for me, Panthera has a reputation as a web comic, so people will recognise it.

add it into any existing ads for the panthera comic might help

Cameos. Having random bystander #43 suspiciusly resemble one of the RP characters is something I've seen done on other comics, although there it's usually a donation reward.

If you're on another forum site, especially another comic- of RP-forum, make a thread and/or include links in your sig. RP forums in particular usually have an "advertising" sub-forum somewhere.

I'm a couple of other RP sites, one of which we can advertise anything, so I;ve done both the webcomic, and the RP.
Possiblity if anyone is good with graphics if someone can come up with an rp specific button for sigs.

Hmm... I can modify the street team banner once I get back home later today. (Already have a fun idea for including a creepy-looking "S43x" where the crest/profiles were....)

...okay, didn't come out as "creepy" as I wanted, but effective, I think.... how's this?

lol, I've seen that it other comics and I think its really fun! I'd like to do something similar if I ever get my comic up off the ground..
Can anyone do animations? Like gifs.. What if we had a little animation that looks interesting? Like its staring at you through the screen and saying "click meeee" in an irresistible voice?
