(Though now I'm interested in how you picture buildings and stuff when you read novels... Not as a slam to you, I'm actually rather curious now.)
Books and Roleplay are different animals--when reading a book, I don't need to attempt to flawlessly recreate the author's floor plan.

Hgnmm... The problem with that is, aside from a single north-south hallway on each floor, there aren't any major corridors at all - the facility is basically a maze. Not only is that an architectural security measure, it plays into the impression I got from Lithas that the escape is supposed to a long time in-RP as the facility should be chaos as it happens. I basically don't want large groups all finding an exit at once. Small groups or individuals, fine, but that won't happen until the unaware Stark guards clue in to what's going on and break up the party. (Which should be happening soon, both as McF sent out a message about Will's explosion, and as Austin is now running off to find someone.) Anyway, once I find where I packed my tablet I'll try to get some sketches up of parts of the facility.
Another option could be, assuming we are splitting up into smaller groups and individuals, we just don't worry about each others' maps matching up exactly.
