((Day 4))

Gregory strolled down the hall to the main meeting room carrying a small folder carrying the few papers he needed - one with his notes on the agenda, one to take notes on, and one he had been handed just five minutes ago. The agenda covered many things, but he was most interested in the fallout from the "incident" two days ago, then general condition of all the test subjects, and if there were any reports of the three select teams. And, of course, his plans for what would occur in several days' time.... He still had to choose who to let on.
He arrived at the meeting and walked in without flourish, setting his folder down (but not sitting) at the nearest open seat. When things quieted down enough, he spoke.
"Greetings, everyone. As you are all aware, this is our first meeting since this most advanced stage of the project began. As such, several parts of the meeting will be to go over new procedures and such to address how to next proceed."
"But before we begin on that track, is there anything that has come up in the past hour or so that would require any of you to take leave soon? If there are any time-sensitive issues for anyone, I would like to discuss them now so everyone hears what they need to."

Gregory frowned slightly. It sounded like whatever Alix wanted to talk about was more of a personal beef than something he needed to talk about before leaving early or something similar. Of course, as Alix hadn't gone into details, Gregory couldn't tell for sure. Also, if it was something truly troublesome, why hadn't he been told of it before? Either way, he could tell he probably wouldn't like whatever Alix said next.
"Yes, Jeric? What seems to be the issue?"

Kia restrained herself from letting out a growl of irritation. There were too many people in the room and it set her on edge. She wasn't even sure why she was in the room. Apparently going to the meeting would help imporve her language skills, and help her fit in with the staff, which she diddn't understand. Her language skills where fine, it was the humans who spoke nonsense, and why did she need to fit in when she wasn't one of them?

As McFarland enetered and spoke she looked up, focusing her gaze on him, trying to understand what he was going on about if only to make the entire thing more bearable. As he asked a question to which there was no answer from those around them she dropped her eyes again to sweep the room, studying those in it, looking for any threats. The idea of doing something productive, even minorly calmed her slightly, until someone finally spoke up again, causing her eyes immediatly to flick to them.

Alix. Her head tilted slightly as he mentioned a matter, wondering what it was he was talking about. Was it about the annoying about of wolves that seemed to be escaping? She doubted it, but at the same time was interested in what he had to say, if only to keep her occupied.

Gregory had to consciously remember to not roll his eyes. His bodyguard was effective at his job, if not very good at dealing with other inoculees and their powers. At least, he seemed to be much more impressed with the mangled gun than Gregory was. He for one had seen worse from past test subjects and was fairly certain that whatever William could do could be handled by the team here already which had already proven themselves, if at the loss of a few of them. And if the redhead truly was worse than anything they'd created so far, he shouldn't get strong enough to do real damage soon, and by the time he could Gergory expected that a few inoculees might have stepped up to augment the ranks of his organization enough.
It did annoy him that so many test subjects didn't have their abilities definitely identified yet. That had to be addressed, for sure.
"Discussion of William Daye was already on the agenda - a rather large portion of which, actually. Whatever the details, his abilities are not any more dangerous than those of other subjects, past or present, we've had experience with; he's already back with other inoculees as part of Sonus's team."
"We can talk about mister Daye now if you, Westwood, or Sonus feel the issue is pressing enough; I already have a tentative plan of action that I was going to discuss later. At the moment, all decisions concerning mister Daye are Sonus's jurisdiction."

Kayje sat quietly in a seat away from the table, this being his first meeting. He reached for his waist to comment on Will when another voice spoke up. "I'm sure the Squawk-Box has Daye in hand. There's more important things to discuss, such as the nearly criminal level of incompetence displayed by Alix two days ago." Quincy sat to Kia's left, an empty chair between them. His voice was cold and accusing, though his face held a grim smile. "How many did Derrik kill, anyway? There was a reason I had the teleporter strung up like an S&M pinata, yet you let him completely out of the restraints to try forcing him to jump. How did that seem like a good idea?"

The second Alix had brought out the 'gun' Kia had lost interest in what he was saying again. She knew little of what had been going on with the caged, besides the two wolves which had escaped. The fact that one of them seemed capable of destroying one of the devicse the humans seemed so reliant on to keep them under control didn't concern her. It was there fault for using such an object in the first place.

She seemed to be one of the few uninterested though. The worry in the 'voices' coming from some of the newer members who hadn't dealt with caged before were obvious. They didn't seem to realise that being worried or scared made them easier prey...

Her attention was caught again as one of those sitting near her replied to Alix's staement with another incident. That alone wasn't interesting but the name he mention was familiar...Derrik. That was the name Alix had called that second wolf, the one that had beaten her..anger rose in her at the memory. Resiting the urge to growl at the name she fixed her eyes on the one speaking, trying to block out the voices in her head as she listened.

Donovan hated meetings, but recognized their importance. He'd be giving his people their own - private - briefing later, after McFarland had shared his agenda. Some of the things that he and McFarland had discussed before this meeting still left Donovan a little shaken, and what McFarland chose to share at this meeting would no doubt effect what should be said to the Stark employees and to Donovan's commander.

The meeting began normally enough. McFarland walked in and got straight to business. Well, not straight to. First he had to ask the plebes for opinions; a terrible idea, in Donovan's mind. He took note of who chose to rise to the "good doctor's" bait. Jeric didn't surprise him, but he'd been hoping the rest of his men were well trained enough to keep quiet.

He leaned back in his chair, hands folded neatly on his lap. He was hear to observe; to show a united front with McFarland. It had been made abundantly clear that his opinions were best kept to upper management only.

"Hush, Owens," Gregory said with a bit of a biting tone. "I already have arranged a private meeting with my bodygaurd," he glared over at Alix momentarily, "to address the incidents that have come up recently. I would appreciate you - all of you in fact - to give each other a bit of leeway over the next week or so. If we can't cooperate with each other well enough, there's no way we can expect the subjects to cooperate with us well either."
"Now, if that's settled," he said, finally sitting down and glancing at his agenda, "the first reports we need are general conditions. I'm assuming all subjects are in good health and have had their abilities identified. If that is not the case, I would like to hear it now."
