I just realized these forums are pretty dead, but I spent so much time on my character sheet when I should've been doing homework that I have to post it anyway.General InformationName:
18Place of Birth:
Lyna is very sarcastic, even more so now that she has been captured. This is meant to be humorous, but can often come out with a biting edge to it. She plans like a pessimist, but hopes like an optimist. She is very slow to trust after being abducted, but is fiercely loyal to those she feels she can trust. She is usually willing to try and give people second chances, but those who end up needing it will never truly regain her trust. She generally tries to avoid her enemies if it can be helped, but fights as hard as she can when it is unavoidable. She hates the cold of the north and wishes she never had to go up there. Lyna tends to complain a lot about little things that annoy her while avoiding the big issues that truly bother her. She will step up and take a leadership role if it is required of her, but prefers to hang back and be more of a second-in-command kind of person. This doesn’t mean that she’s a doormat blindly following the leader, as she will very vocal in her opinions when she feels strongly or is knowledgeable enough about them, it’s just that she feels that other people are more suited to lead than her and dislikes carrying the fate of others on her shoulders. History:
Lyna’s parents divorced when she was ten and she never did meet her father again. This has made her feel somewhat jaded about trusting anyone completely anymore. Living in the Florida Keys meant that she was constantly outside. She loves the beach, though she ended up avoiding them back home because she felt many were just giant tourist hangouts. She was interested in becoming a marine biologist and loved heading out early mornings or evenings and studying tide pools at low-tide when all the tourists were away. Being raised by a single mother, who had to work to support both her and her younger brother Dustin, she never had much money. Though Lyna was not so poor that she couldn’t eat, she did worry about her financial situation often and tried to work part time to help out her family. However, she was forbidden to do so by her mother, who asked that she instead focus on school so that she would never have to live like this when she was older. She did as her mother asked and ended up graduating from her high school with honors. Lyna was enjoying her last summer before she went to college when she was taken while on one of her trips to observe the tide pools. Physical InformationVisual Appearance (completely optional):
Alternate Form: Physical Appearance:
Lyna is around 5’8” and is slender. She is in average shape, meaning she can run a mile but she’ll definitely feel every inch of it when she’s done. She has light brown skin and straight black shoulder length hair that is usually kept in a pony-tail. She is pretty average looking and the only remarkable feature about her are her eyes, which are a mundane brown normally but can seem golden if the sun hits them just right.
Her inoculated form is of a typical Man of War Bird with a wing span of around seven feet. She has a white underbelly and a deeply forked tail.Clothing and Armor:
She is most comfortable in knee length shorts, a t-shirt, and a baseball cap, though the climate she is now in forced her into pants. She doesn’t wear much jewelry as it gets caught on things easily, but does have a fondness for earring studs, though her inoculated status currently prevents her from wearing them.Weapons
Lyna has very little proficiency in weapons, though she had found a friend who had been giving her some free fencing lessons before her kidnapping and can use these very basic skills if need be.Inoculated onlyAlternate Form:
Man of War Bird/FrigatebirdAbilities:
Though her abilities were not initially clear to her, Lyna soon realized she could steal things very easily from people. She has essentially become the ultimate pickpocket and can pick most mechanical locks, though electronic ones are still beyond her for now.
I hope I didn't just create an exact duplicate of someone else right now, but I don't think this is a very common combination.
