Full Name: Caleb Marcus Green
Nicknames: None that I can think of… I’ve always just been Caleb. The guys at college called me Green sometimes. I drew the line at Mr. Green, though. I’m not my father, nor am I character in Clue.
Gender: Male
Age: 34
Does this character look their age?: Maybe a little younger, but not by much. I stopped getting carded by 25, if that means anything.
Nationality: Causasian
Marital Status: Single
Children: None
Education Level: I graduated from the UW with a BA in English.
IQ: Average? My GPA was decent, at least.
Current Residence: An apartment in the Lake Hills neighborhood of Bellevue, WA. Small, yes, but
mine.
Occupation (Past and Present): In high school and college I had a couple of random jobs, including McDonalds and seasonal employment at the GAP. After college I worked at the Issaquah REI for a while before getting a job as a legal assistant… which was really just a glorified receptionist, and I spent most of my time filing paperwork. Then I moved to Montana and picked up a job at a place called the Northern Lights Trading Company, which is actually where I met Rook. Since then I’ve moved back to Seattle and work for my father’s contracting business.
Income: I make ends meet with a little to spare, if that’s what you want to know.
Political Party: I’d like to say moderate, but in all honesty I usually vote Democratic.
Eye Colour: Hazel
Glasses of Contact Lenses?: Neither! I wore reading glasses in college, but haven’t had much need of them since.
Unusual height, weight or both?: Not really. I maintain that I’m
average, even if I’m shorter than most of my male friends.
Describe how they dress on a typical day: Jeans and a t-shirt? I work with my hands, my clothes have to be able to take a beating.
Typical Hairstyle: Messy. I mean, I brush it and all, but I doubt I’d be able to give an accurate answer if you ask when I last got it cut.
Distinguishing marks, scars or tattoos: Scars, but none particularly prominent. They’re from the usual stuff--falling off my bike, trying to pet a cat that apparently didn’t want to be pet, being an idiot and going bouldering after having a couple drinks…
Most predominant feature: Um. The beard? Maybe?
What kind of posture do they have?: I slouch? What kind of questions are these, anyway?
Do they look like anyone specific?: Maybe a little like Dad…
Any past illness or injuries?: The normal stuff. Chicken pox, the sniffles, breaking my arm playing baseball.
Any current illness or injuries?: Beyond the ability to turn into a goddamn bird?
Are they generally in good health, bad health or average health?: I’m pretty healthy, thanks.
Any addictions (Past or present): …Does adrenaline count? >.>;
Do they come from a poor, middleclass, or wealthy family?: My parents do pretty good for themselves.
Parents’ Occupations: Dad owns his own business. Mom works for a bank.
Brothers and sisters?: My baby sister Rachel is about it, and she was handful enough.
Environment they came from?: …happy? I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, if that’s what you’re asking.
Current social class: Geez, didn’t I already answer this? I do ok. Moving on.
Do they generally like people? Why/Why not?: People are awesome. A little annoying at times, but I like to think they’re generally good.
Describe them in one word: Let’s see… I said “awesome” on that other sheet I filled out… so, not to repeat myself, let’s go with “adventurous.”
Religion: I don’t really consider myself an atheist, but I’m not really sold on the whole God thing.
Temperament: For the most part I’m pretty easy going.
Superstitions: I’m pretty careful about breaking mirrors, I guess, but I’ve never really thought about it.
Phobias: Bees. -.-; I know, it’s kind of embarrassing.
Bad Habits: Not doing the dishes right away, putting wet towels on the floor,
Good Habits: Doing laundry pretty promptly,
Annoying Habits: Annoying to me, or someone else?
Characteristic manner of speaking: Jokingly?
Is their voice deep? High pitched? Monotone? Varied in tone?: …hell if I know.
Catch Phrase: …uhm. I’ll have to start paying attention to how I talk, I guess.
Describe their place of residence: It’s a small two-bedroom with a washer-dryer in unit. I live alone, but the extra space is nice and gives me room for an office and storage area for all my seasonal gear. It’s usually kinda messy.
Favourite Music: Early 90’s rock, with some 60’s and 70’s mixed in from Dad.
Childhood Pets: I had a turtle named Daisy. My sister named him. Don’t ask.
Current Pets: None. Don’t have the time for most pets, to be honest.
Favourite Childhood Toy: Legos!
Were they teased as a child? What for?: Being short. But for the most part I wasn’t a target for the bullies, so it wasn’t a big deal.
Do they ever have fun? What do they consider fun?: I almost
always have fun; I feel kinda bad for people who don’t. :/
Have they suffered a personal tragedy?: Kind of? I fell in love with this girl named Lisa, right? She had a kid, a toddler at the time, and he was the coolest little kid ever. I thought things were going great until she dumped me, saying I wasn’t ready to be a father.
That hurt, but in retrospect I have to agree. Meeting Rook and seeing
his living situation helped me realize that. I mean, really; it took me all of two weeks to move to Montana, as if leaving the state would make it hurt less? Tch.
Very mature, running from my problems. In any case, we kept in touch a little, and I eventually went back to Seattle. She was with someone else (still is, actually), which sucks, but hey. That ship sailed. But I get to be Uncle Caleb to Jackson, so it’s not an entire loss.
Are they keeping secrets?: Nah. I’m a pretty open book.
Greatest Obsession: The outdoors.
Greatest fear: Living a boring life.
What are they most ashamed of?: My reasons for moving to Bozeman. Not the moving or living there itself, mind; I wouldn’t trade that experience for anything. My
reasons, though, were stupid.
What really annoys them?: Stupid people?
What do you like about them?: …like about people? What? I’m kinda confused here…
What do you hate about them?: Huh?
What do they care about most?: My friends.
Did they ever have a role model? Explain: Shit. *sighs* Ok, but if you tell him this, you’re DEAD--it’s Rook. The kid has a damn good head on his shoulders, except for the whole blaming-himself-for-everything habit he’s got. I wish I had been as grown up as him when I was his age. …Only, you know, without the family tragedy. Crap, that didn’t come out right. -.-; Whatever. Rook. Just don’t pass it on, alright?
Do they want to impress anyone?: Hate to admit it, but if I’m being
completely honest… Lisa. Yeah, yeah, I know… *rolls eyes* I’m an idiot. Sue me.
What threatens the thing they care about?: … uh, life? Not that you can hide from it, though.
How do they react to pressure?: Poorly?
Are they making mistakes in life?: I’ve made a lot of mistakes, but so has everyone. I’m sure I’m making more now. I won’t realize it until later, though. That’s usually how it works
Happiest Moment: When I made it to the top of Mt Rainier the first time.
Saddest Moment: Lisa breaking up with me. God, I’m such a chick sometimes.
Favourite day of the week: FRIDAY!
Favourite Holiday: Gotta be Memorial Day. It helps mark the beginning of boating season, and it’s when my friends and I usually take our first camping trip of summer.
Are they selfish?: …Probably.
Are they generous?: I try to be, but see my previous answer.
Who had the most influence on them?: Dad.
Any romantic relations (Past or present)?: A few girls, but Lisa’s the most prominent. I’ve dated a little here and there since then, but nothing serious.
Did they ever have a ‘dream’?: The Seven Summits. But in a more practical sense, settling down and having a family. Eventually.
What is their main goal in the roleplay? (in one sentence): …get Rook out safely? Make it home?
Describe their transformational arc in one sentence: Huh?
Do they end up better than when they started?: I hope. I mean, turning into a bird can’t be all bad, right? Especially if we get out of here…
What changes have they undergone on the past 5, 10, 15 years of their life?: Dunno. I like to think I’m more grown up than before, but I’m probably the worst judge of that.
How are they different from other characters in the roleplay?: I seem like one of the oldest in the room. Not sure if that’s what you mean, though.
Do they interact with other characters?: Yeah?
