Alix shivered for a moment before regaining control of himself Damn drafts He assumed, turning back to the lynx. "Now, Samuel. Can you understand me? Slap your right paw down twice if you can."

Cautiously, the lynx pondered the question. Sure enough, he understood. But this was strange. Regardless, it seemed safe enough for Sam to answer accordingly, so he raised his paw and gently slapped the floor twice, keeping his eyes at the guard in front of him.

"T'was the strength of your love that returned me from the brink, for a single day gazing at thine countenance is worth an eternity of this hell. I'd risk death a thousand times and again, that I might be brought closer to you." Anmar blinked, confused.

"By any chance are you still high?" she asked as politely as possible, which wasn't very.

Today is very boring, it is a very boring day.
There is nothing much to look at, and nothing much to say.
There is a peacock on my sneakers, and a penguin on my head.
There's a doormouse on my doorstep, I am going back to bed.

Aaron was reminded of a poem he saw in one of the shows his younger brother used to watch all the time. it seemed very fitting. His time with someone to talk to had been very, very short... and he was now without any way to keep himself occupied again, except recite that poem, over and over.

Today is very boring, it is boring through and through.
There is absolutely nothing that I think I want to do.
I see giants riding rhinos, and an ogre with a sword.
There's a dragon blowing smoke rings, I am positively bored.

He was beginning to prefer spending time in his leopard form. it seemed safer for some reason, like if something happened, it would miss him because he was smaller. And now that it was brought to mind, the bed idea at the end of the first stanza of the poem was starting to sound really good. He had been awake for he didn't know how long now, but judging by the cycle of lights, he guessed nearly 3 days straight. He was finally getting tired.

Today is very boring, I can hardly help but yawn.
There's a flying saucer landing in the middle of my lawn.
A volcano just erupted less than half a mile away.
And I think I felt and earthquake, it's a very boring day.

And with that, he nodded off to sleep.

Azura slid forward, realizing that her 'attack' had no affect. "I need to get that guard away from that poor cat." Azura sat for a minute, thinking. "Can I do this in human form?"
She ran back to her cage. Melding back into her body, she bit her own tail as hard as she could. As she felt the pain, she slid back into human form.
"S-s-sorry about that" she told her neighbor. "I w-want to try something t-t-t-though. Hit m-me if I am in d-danger?"
With out waiting for a responce, Azura meditated. Soon, she felt the familiar pull. This time, she walked away from her body as it fell over in what looked like a feint. Walking over to the guard, she whispered in his ear, "Boo."
She closed her eyes and thought, "Lets hope this works."

"Boo"Alix heard, just at the edge of hearing. His head jerked up, and he tried to find the source of the noise. He was about to turn back to Sam when he saw one of the prisoners slumped over at an awkward angle. He hadn't seen such someone slumped over like that since his last battlefield. "We'll have to finish this chat later, Sam" he said, before hurrying to the girl's body. Removing his glove, he placed a finger on her neck, feeling a slight pulse. "Get me a stretcher and some medics" he called to a nearby scientist. "we have an injured patient. Take her to the med bay." Standing, he looked at the girl next to the unconscious one. "Do you know what happened to this one?" He barked, needing an answer.

While Azura was out adventuring outside her her lemur body Caine was distracted. She had moved on from thinking about sweet things and was currently thinking about eating meat- especially steak.. with the outside covered in this herbal crust and served with au jus.. and the smell is just absolutely heavenly when it's cooking and.. Just then her neighbor said something weird and random.

"S-s-sorry about that, I w-want to try something t-t-t-though. Hit m-me if I am in d-danger?"

And then she kinda just flopped over... Caine scooted closer to Azura's cage. What.. the.. waffles..? How on earth was fainting tough? Wait, can you even faint on command? How is that even- A guy had just come into Caine's not-blurry field of vision. Not a whitecoat.. not caged.. what the..? He went over to Azura's cage, called for a stretcher, and put his fingers up to her neck. Caine's brain scrambled, Touching = not good. Medics = testing. Testing = danger?

"Do you know what happened to this one?" The guy asked quickly and little loudly- all official like, well, like a solider.

"Er... what Sir?" Caine's brain stuttered and then kicked into high gear. Out of habit she put on the smile she usually wore at work when dealing with grumpy customers. "Oh, her! She has.. narcolepsy! Yes, narcolepsy. She said she's had it ever since she was a kid. It doesn't seem to bother her though. She usually wakes up right about now. Here, watch!" Quickly, before anyone could stop her, Caine stuck her arm through the cage bars (they just barely fit through) and flicked Azura's foot.

(oh boy, so everyone knows, Azura is breathing and has a pulse, just no response to anything. Just as if she is passed out.)

Azura watched as the guard jumped and looked over at her cage. As he walked over, barking orders, she realized what was going on. "Oh shoot She thought. Runing back over to her cage, she watched as her neighbor flicked her foot. Hoping to feel the familiar pull back, she sat next to her body. But as a fuss around her began, she found it impossible to go back. Beginning to panic, she tried as hard as she could, but nothing happened.
As two medics came with a streacher, she ran over to her neighbor and whispered, "It's Az-zura. I'm s-s-stuck out of my b-b-body... Help!"

Sam just watched as the guard moved over to the next cage in a hurry. He was looking at the unconscious girl in the cage near his. The man barked out an order for a medic and not long later, two more people came with stretchers. The lynx just watched, his tail swishing occasionally. Partly, he was irritated that his first real contact in awhile was interrupted by this girl, and he was also partly relieved that the man was gone.

"Hehheh...." Caine laughed nervously to herself. "Um, that usually works.. Dunno why it isn't now.." She withdrew her arm slightly, since it was uncomfortable sticking it between the cage bars. Caine could hear a voice, but it sounded too far away to distinguish the words. She dismissed it as another caged person talking a little ways away. More than anything else though, Caine could hear her heart pounding in her ears. She was caged, half blind, hungry, and her neighbor was in trouble. Saying that this wasn't going well would be a grievous understatement. Before she could question what she was about to do, Caine extended her arm again until it reached her Azura's unconscious form. She hesitated slightly, and then biffed Azura on the top of her head.

"Hey! Wake up!!"

Azura could only sit and watch as Caine hit her over the head. "Thats gonna hurt." she thought as she felt the slight bump hit her non corporeal form.
"Help me!!! Please come with me!" she screamed right in Caine's ear as she was lifted onto the stretcher. Feeling the mans hands lift her up, she began to panic. "Calm down." She thought as she sat cross-legged on her own chest as they lifted her up.
