True, but I've kinda been avoiding that, because if Abel could hear her, then he could probably figure out which direction the screams were coming from, and that would give him a way to figure out how to get back to the room, and then there would be less angst. AND THERE MUST NOT BE LESS ANGST. :P

Given that the escape is staged, and that there's apparently a "list" of subjects who aren't supposed to escape, I'm quite sure there'll be plenty of room for more angst later.

Gotcha. So nothing would be heard from down the hallway, and I should edit my post?
The 'dull thud' I think would be heard - explosions are a lot of energy, after all. =-)
As for the alarms.... we (Rook, Caden, etc.) are in a break room, so it's not entirely out of possibility that a communicator was left in the room - kind like the security cards. I guess I would rather that not be the case, but if you really want some sort of alarm to have gone off in the room, that's not prohibited - though I think deducing that he needs to 'return' just from hearing a dull thud from somewhere plus a beeping device might be a bit of a stretch.

I'm back from the dead, people.

The phoneline died sort of dead. D:

I'm running on a portable broadband USB on limited bandwith till we get things up and running.

I'll post in the cage topic - PM me if I made any mistake.

What kind of tests had the people gone through the days before the escape? I read through some of these topics but I'm positive I missed some important blaring facts I should've known.

Wow, no OOC posts for four days?

Anyway, before the same mistake gets made a fourth time, I said this previously but it got buried when the new page started:
IT IS NOT BREAKFAST TIME
For those of you in the cage room, it is just after lunch. It's an understandable mistake if you just read the cage room thread, as the time of day was only made explicit in the first of the three McF posts, but if you would make corrections so we're not worrying about time warps here, that'd be great. Thanks!

it seems like four is the number of the month thenXD

anyway, remember that the characters have no idea what time it is because of most likely their time senses are messed up. So some might think about breakfast, some lunch, or some even wants a night snack. No sense of time, remember.

Yes, but it was also established day two (I think - might've been another day but I really doubt it) that they would have a regular meal schedule. They should've had "breakfast" and "lunch" by now - whether those meals correspond to the "real" times doesn't matter all that much (though they are in fact lined up correctly).

Ugh, folks, I'd like to join up, but I'm a bit confused on where to get started.
Any advice on where I should start reading?

Hmm... Definitely read the "plot" and "AAQ" threads. Quickly browsing "stomping grounds" would also probably be a good idea, as would be reading the first post in the day1 thread. I would also advise browsing a few of the accepted character bios. That's all for making a character.
If you want to get a good idea of where the RP currently is, read the first post in all three of the "escape" threads and the last two or three pages of this thread. =-)
Hope that helps!

Hey guys! I'm working on a post, but they might be slow/short for awhile as I just had arm surgery (again, but other arm this time). Typing one handed is annoying.

The first person to guess Will's plan G gets a free, "get out of the line of fire" card ;)

At least your right hand is the free one this time, though... ;)

I don't pretend to know the specifics, but judging from the description of the required supplies, I have a feeling it involves a large explosion and/or shooting your way free.
