Don't know whether that was offensive or not to associate Eurovision with the gay community or not, lol.

No one I know honestly cares about it at this point given the likelihood of the UK winning is nill. Also the songs generally aren't that good. Only times it was interesting was that hard metal band and of course Epic Sax Guy.

Well, I can't say I'm offended, so it's probably okay. :p
And the biggest date in the gay calendar is probably the Gay Pride Parade in Amsterdam, at any rate, so unless he's going there for the weekend, you're probably safe.

The UK guys were nice, but the song... well, kinda sucked.

People around here just watch Eurovision so they can laugh at other people making total idiots of themselves, like whoever the guys in kabouter-hats were. Since we came in last in the semi-finals, this sorta makes us feel better about ourselves.

The Ukrainian sand artist was good. It's a pity that blonde woman kept singing through her act, though. :p

No offense meant, and i should have said 'one of the biggest', pride obviously takes ...erm... pride of place? (Cat pun jar?.... aww dammit).

I mean the UK had what used to be a top-of-the-charts boyband performing and as usual we stil lost!

So for my uni subject Principles of Physiology, we had to, in groups of three, make an A4 poster. My group thought our poster was shit...yet not only did we get a mark of 24/25, we've been shortlisted for the poster awards! Shows what we know.

No exams for me today, so whee.
I should be studying for Geography tomorrow, but it's my day off, so I'll just put that off until after dinner or something. XD

I will say a good luck to those of you with exams and papers. I know how mind boggling difficult and stressful they can be.

As this is a whats up topic, I shall say that since I got the new page done, finally time to work on my requests.

But first, a little something something I shall work on you people either jokingly or genuinely asked for in 2.19 discussion. :P

Excellent! Totally applying for this!

On a more serious note, school is messing with my brain. Friday I woke up at 2:45 in the morning because I had a nightmare that I missed my Geography exam (the only one that doesn't start at 13:30 but 9:00). When this is over, I'm never going to take another high school exam again.

Write out everything you do so they'll be able to see what went wrong, that way you usually still get a point or two. If you're not sure about a reaction, just write "2 H2 + O2 = 2 H2O" before attempting the actual question, also getting you a spare point or two. XD

My geckos are finally named! The larger of the two is named Falcor, and the smaller is Zain.

Also, my boyfriend made me a bracelet. I'm wearing it right now. It's Viking wire weaving. Very pretty.

Getting actually quite pumped about going to download festival this year...

Found a perfect tent, pops up out of a bag so i don't have to fail at tent poles.

I'm also worried about having enough food to last me... i've never been camping without my parents before so i'm a bit nervous

that and the couple who originally said 'lets go as a group' have now decided that they want to split it into 2... theres Sam and anna, and then me and george... so the experienced festivalers are swanning off on their own... yay fun ¬_¬

BRILLIANT. Because it's not like they suggested it or anything! ...waitasec.
Anyway, that sucks. Follow them around and pelt popcorn or something at them.

Also, hooooly crap.
I had Chemistry today and I thought it sucked big time, so I went to check exactly how bad I failed, figuring it was safe since it couldn't get worse.
Ten minutes later, I'm staring at my piece of paper going, "There's no way in hell I got this many points in just the first ten questions!"
Another ten minutes later, "Are you serious, I got all this right?!".
When I finished checking the entire exam, I went to a website to get an estimate of my final grade (scale of 1-10 with 1 being "You showed up but did nothing whatsoever" and 10 being perfect). It's somewhere between a 6,9 and a 7,7. The highest grade I've gotten all year is a 7,3 and my school average was a 5,4. What went so horribly RIGHT?

When you didn't know what to answer, did you just shout something random? because usually the teachers manage to get you one or two points out of that anyway. :/ I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

I know, right? I've finished everything that needed to be done but couldn't because I had to study and I still have a load of free time to kill. XD
You know those old cartoons where a character is taking a really long run-on to break down a door only for someone to open said door and that character keeps running? Pretty much like that. XD

I'm more the kind of person to run into a door, knock myself out to have the door opened 2 seconds later "You knocked sir?"
