The problem with the cake idea is that I'd have no idea of how she'd escape the lab.

Maybe she distracted everyone with cake? Perhaps she has the ability to drug the cakes she creates with her mind? Maybe she can create key shaped cakes?

I'd imagine the Power of Cake would be more effective in escaping from a cage than the Power of Shiny, and we have one of those (see: Jacinta Whinchester)

Wait until the were opening the cage to take her out for some check-up, slam them in the faces with cakes, and run during the confusion.

Honestly, the hilarity of the power of spontaneous cake would make me completely ingore all feasibility issues and accept the character, if I had the power to do so. X-D

Everybody sing it with me:

"This was a triumph.
I'm making a note here: Huge Success!
It's hard to overstate
my satisfaction."

Which introduces a whole new issue - is Syn's conjured cake REAL? Or does it fade out of existence after x minutes/hours? It's quite possible that Syn's cake is a lie.

But it wasn't REALLY a lie... GLaDOS totally had a cake for us at the end. I always wonder how long it was sitting there.

Now SYN's cake being a lie or being real? Both have merits. :D

I'm more worried about my potentially being stalked at the moment actually.

Well I would be if I hadn't found such an awesome game to play.

Schrodinger can't be op, she largely has no control over where she teleports, and can only do so while not being watched!

If I get the cake approved I'm definately going to have the best character in the RP.

You never said she didn't have control over location, and it's honestly not hard at all to be unobserved for the fraction of a second, which is all she would need.

Only if she would have to be unobserved by humans. If it would be anything, it would be rather close to impossible. The reason, if I understand quantum physics (and I probably don't), that quantum uncertainty works is that nothing is observing them or measuring them- at least that's the Copenhagen one, which is the one that the cat idea was made for. Anything observing her would prevent her from teleporting, thus she could not teleport unless in an area where there was no life capable of observing her.

I would suggest sticking with wormholes, but making it so they took a really long time to open- like an hour or so. Of constant focus.
